Designed by leading architects, Cox
Richardson,Verge is Part 2 of Discovery Point’s Dress Circle
apartments, which follow a gentle arc embracing the extensive
parklands.
A curved feature wall defines the lower level of the buildings and reflects the boundary of Tempe House’s formal gardens, creating an important and engaging transition of scale to the heritage villa beyond.
Named after John Verge, one of Australia's leading architects of the 1800s, Verge offers magnificent views of the parkland, waterfront, city and one of his own works, Tempe House
The architecture of Verge has a stature all of its own. A design both impressive and refined. A distinctive and immensely functional feature is its projecting balconies from both living and bedrooms. Sliding screens with louvres allow many residents control over privacy and the elements. Close them and create an outdoor room, or open them for a gentle breeze and full cross-flow ventilation.
